Saudi Made Program Organize Virtual workshop on Supply Chains, Logistics Transport

Saudi Made Program organize virtual workshop, in collaboration with Almarai company, entitled “Supply Chains and Logistics Transport”, presented by Almarai company, in the presence of a number of participants, in the Saudi Made Program.

The workshop stems from the program’s endeavor to implement the concept of knowledge exchange and transfer among associate companies, by investing in experiences and knowledge values. ​​Such exchange includes the concepts and requirements of “supply chains and logistical transport” as one of the most important pillars, supporting the growth and expansion of companies.

The workshop highlights the concept of supply chain management, to build an effective competitive strategy.

The “Made in Saudi Arabia” or in short Saudi Made, is one of the national initiatives emanating from the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program, which aims to increase local consumption and market share of local goods and services.

The final goal is to which contribute to directing purchasing power towards local products and services, leading to the private sector’s contribution to GDP, to 65% and raise the proportion of non-oil exports in non-oil GDP to 50% by 2030.
